As the Agents of SHIELD inches closer to its series finale, its casts are confident that fans will love its ending.
Among those who have spoken is Ming-Na Wen who plays Melinda May, Henry Simmons who portrays SHIELD director and Chloe Bennet aka Daisy/Quake. All assured that the series finale will make the fans happy despite the fact that the series is ending.
According to Screenrant, Wen had hinted at future projects for SHIELD characters when she said that it may be the end, seemingly referring to the show, but they don't really end, kind of referring to the characters.
This will not be surprised though if this will be the case because it will be in keeping with Marvel. Thus, what Wen said does not mean that there is something being worked on for the future or that she may be involved in it. It is just in keeping with how Marvel does things.
Simmons, for his part, said that fans will be happy with the payoff that will result from a final confrontation between SHIELD, the Chronicom aliens, and HYDRA, reported Digital Spy.
The actor added that they may not be able to satisfy all but they will appreciate the reality of the situation.
Bennet, on the other hand, assured that the end will not divide the fans much like what the Game of Thrones has done. She said that the Agents of SHIELD will not be taking that divisive route.
At least that is some level of assurance for fans who are sad of saying goodbye to the very first TV show for Marvel. And, it is also the last considering that Marvel has canceled its other TV shows as it is now focusing on Disney+.
The whole final season seems to be saying goodbye to its fans as well as it takes the SHIELD team through the history of SHIELD's past via time travel as they try to stop the Chronicoms from getting rid of SHIELD and take over the earth.
We will have to trust these actors' words as the Agents of SHIELD continue to move forward to its finale.
