(NASDAQ: AKTS) (“Akoustis” or the “Company”), a manufacturer of patented single-crystal BulkONE® bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced today that it has appointed Tom Sepenzis as Director of Investor Relations. With more than 20 years of experience as a Wall Street technology analyst, Mr. Sepenzis brings a diverse knowledge of technology and capital markets. The new role will bring a direct point of contact for investors and is aimed to elevate communication with the investment community.
Mr. Sepenzis was most recently a Managing Director and Senior Semiconductor Analyst for Northland Capital Markets where he covered over 20 companies. Prior to Northland, Mr. Sepenzis held similar roles at ThinkEquity Partners, CIBC World Markets, Piper Jaffray and Soundview Financial Group. Tom holds an MFA from AAU and a BA from New York University.
