VANCOUVER, British Columbia , May 08, 2018 -- Amerigo Resources Ltd. (TSX:ARG) ("Amerigo" or the "Company") announces the results of voting at its 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”) held on May 7, 2018 in Vancouver British Columbia.
A total of 97,166,852 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing 54.83% of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares of the Company. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business before the meeting, including the election of all director nominees as follows:

In addition, the ordinary resolution amending and reconfirming the Company's shareholder rights plan, was carried with 90.37% of the votes cast in favour of such resolution.
