SAN FRANCISCO and LEHI, Utah, Sept. 07, 2017 -- Ancestry, the global leader in family history and consumer genomics, today announced that Sriram Thiagarajan is joining to lead IT strategy and operations as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Thiagarajan brings more than 20 years of leadership history in global technology organizations. His experience overseeing the development, management, and utilization of infrastructure architectures, applications, and tools will be critical as Ancestry continues its global expansion and grows its employee base.
“Our IT team has done a phenomenal job of building an IT platform that has supported our growth and our expansion from the family history market into the rapidly growing consumer genomics segment. Sriram’s experience in other global organizations will be critical in helping our team enhance and strengthen our platform for the next phase of our growth,” said Nat Natarajan, Executive Vice President of Product and Technology at Ancestry. “Sriram will build on our strong foundation and ensure we are leveraging the right tools and technology to enable our people to work better, faster, and smarter in order to help millions of people make meaningful discoveries about themselves.”
