STATEN ISLAND, N.Y., Oct. 23, 2016 -- The staff at this veterinary group will offer pets and animal owners quality veterinary care on Sundays and Mondays with the addition of veterinarian, Dr. Sofia Miele. Her availability at the Hyland Boulevard office allows pets and pet owners to receive necessary veterinary care seven days a week, reports Animal Health Veterinary Group. Dr. Miele graduated from Veterinary School at the University of Missouri, with a small animal rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls. The team welcomes her contribution to their ongoing focus on delivering excellence in veterinary medicine.
Joining the team at Animal Health Veterinary Group, animal hospital in Staten Island, is Dr. Sofia Miele. After completing her undergraduate studies in Animals Science, she continued her education at the University of Missouri, graduating from veterinary school in 2015. Dr. Miele was born and raised in New Jersey and after graduation she moved back to complete a one year small animal rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing soccer, watching the Yankees and relaxing with her pug, her gerbil, and her three cats.
