SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 21, 2016 -- Anslinger Capital and Hypur Ventures, two of the most experienced early-stage growth capital firms specializing in the cannabis industry, have announced a strategic merger of their respective funds. The new fund, which will retain the Hypur Ventures name, now boasts the largest and most complementary portfolio of enterprise and consumer focused cannabis companies.

The principals of Hypur Ventures, L.P. began investing in the cannabis industry in 2012 and have since invested over $10 million in cannabis-centric businesses.
