Anthropic's amended IPO filing puts nine-month revenue at $33.24 billion and lists $895.4 billion in purchase and lease commitments, adding financial detail for investors weighing the proposed offering.
For the first nine months through Sept. 30, Anthropic's amended Form S-1 shows revenue of $33.24 billion, approximately 1,200% above the comparable 2025 period. Revenue in the third quarter was about $17 billion.
Anthropic recorded a $104 billion net loss for the nine-month period, compared with $25.1 billion in the same period of 2025. The filing attributes most of the loss to changes in the valuations of convertible notes and derivative liabilities. The third-quarter net loss was $23.29 billion.
The amended document lists about $895.4 billion in aggregate spending commitments across purchases and leases. Anthropic says almost the entire amount is tied to compute and infrastructure. Expenses for those operations rose by $14.4 billion in the nine months, a 329% increase from the same period in 2025. The filing connects the expense growth to the expansion of the company's compute and infrastructure capacity.
The initial prospectus reported financial results through the first half of the year; the amendment adds results through Sept. 30. The added quarter supplements EconoTimes' earlier coverage of financial figures from an Anthropic draft prospectus.
CNBC reported Anthropic was preparing for its roadshow as investors watched whether financing and computing capacity could keep pace with the company's expansion. The outlet said rising rates had raised concerns that data center developers and neoclouds could find debt unaffordable. CNBC also reported that heavy AI spending at Microsoft, Google and Amazon had added to investor concerns about cloud companies' cash flow and whether computing capacity would come online quickly enough. Anthropic gets much of its computing capacity from Amazon, Google and SpaceX, with neoclouds supplying some of the rest, CNBC reported.
