The messaging platform was restored shortly after Telegram took action to remove the offending content and ban the account responsible.
According to Apple, the temporary removal was part of its ongoing App Store review process designed to enforce strict safety and content moderation standards. The company said Telegram acted quickly after being notified, allowing the app to return to the App Store once the violating material had been removed and the user involved was permanently banned.
