Richmond, Virginia, Oct. 13, 2017 -- Adam Vorbora, owner of the Archadeck location in Salt Lake City, Utah, and his team were awarded Archadeck Outdoor Living’s Design Excellence Award in the Hardscape category. The winning project hardscape project, sold by Scott Barben, was an exquisite outdoor entertaining area complete with a covered patio and an outdoor fireplace. The contest recognizes design excellence in several project categories among its franchise locations. As North America’s largest custom designer and builder of outdoor structures and spaces, Archadeck Outdoor Living has grown to a franchise network of over 50 locations across the United States and Canada.
Presented annually, the Archadeck Design Excellence Award is granted in different project categories including decking projects, hardscape or patio projects, and porch and room projects. The winners of those categories are then entered to win the Design Excellence Award Grand Prize, which is determined by a collective vote by the Archadeck franchisee network.
“We worked very closely with this family to discover, design, and build the perfect space to meet their outdoor entertaining needs,” said Adam Vorbora, owner of the Salt Lake City location. “We’re proud and honored to accept this award. We look forward to building more Ogden covered patios in the future.”
Archadeck of Salt Lake City’s winning hardscape project started with a rustic-looking Belgard paver patio created with Holland stone in Victorian in gorgeous shades of gray, brown, and amber. The hardscape features a stunning outdoor fireplace wrapped in natural-looking Harriston veneer, with granite tops extending out on both sides, adding both functionality and privacy. A gabled roof pitch over the patio allows the homeowners to entertain under a dry and shady space, while seamlessly integrating the new space with the existing home’s aesthetics.
“We are proud to present this awards to Adam Vorbora, Scott Barben, and the entire Salt Lake City team,” stated Mike Reeder, VP of the Archadeck Outdoor Living Brand. “Their attention to detail, design, and level of expertise exemplifies Archadeck’s values and goals.”
The winning projects will be featured in the Archadeck Design Excellence Award photo gallery, which can be found on the company’s website at www.Archadeck.com.
