Ares Management is set to acquire GLP Capital Partners' operations outside of China, according to a Bloomberg report. The official announcement is expected soon, potentially as early as Tuesday.

The deal could reach up to $5 billion in total value, with an initial payment of approximately $3.5 billion. Additional payments will depend on hitting certain performance targets over time.
