The new episode of the hit TV series 'Arrow" Season 4 is coming up and it would seem like the shippers and fans of the 'Olicity' love team will be heartbroken in the upcoming episode.
Oliver Queen's/Green Arrow's (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak's (Emily Bett Rickards) might be on a rocky road as the promotional video released by the team shows Felicity sans the ring on her hand. According to "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle, the clue to the tension between the two characters in one of the episode's scenes was "a visual clue."
Many fans and loyal viewers are speculating that the wedding may have been called off. Even Amell himself in a press release commented about it saying "The fact is, Felicity is not wearing her ring in that flash forward scene, and that was not a mistake."
"Spoiler alert, I probably mess it up," he revealed.
Felicity, on the other hand, will make a comeback in the Jan. 27 episode titled "A.W.O.L." Felicity's goth persona made its first appearance in the 2014 episode "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak," where it was revealed that the character went through a goth phase when she was younger. So watch out as we see Felicity become bad ass again.
Meanwhile, Amell talked about wanting Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) to return to the series, saying, "Manu is a character, and Manu played a great character." He commented that the show is missing something and that is maybe because Deathstroke has not been seen ever since he first appeared.
So watch out for more updates and details as Arrow" Season 4 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
