NEWARK, Del., June 08, 2017 -- Artesian Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:ARTNA) announced that it has appointed Joseph A. DiNunzio as President of Artesian Water Maryland, Inc. Mr. DiNunzio serves as Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Artesian Resources Corporation and subsidiaries.
Artesian Water Maryland, Inc. was established in 2007 with the approval of the Maryland Public Service Commission and provides public water utility services to about 2,300 metered customers across Cecil County, Maryland. Mr. DiNunzio said, “I am both humbled by the appointment as President of Artesian Water Maryland, Inc. and excited by the opportunities for growth in our Cecil County, Maryland service area. Our customers in Cecil County can expect to continue to receive the assured, reliable and high quality water and superior service for which Artesian is known.”
Mr. DiNunzio has served as Executive Vice President and Secretary of Artesian Resources Corporation since 2007, and previously was Senior Vice President and Secretary since March 2000 and Vice President and Secretary since January 1995. Prior to joining Artesian in 1989, Mr. DiNunzio was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. DiNunzio resides in Cecil County, Maryland with his wife, Gladys.

Mr. DiNunzio is Past Chairman of the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of the Cecil Business Leaders. He is a member of the Delaware Water Supply Coordinating Council, the Delaware Source Water Assessment and Protection Programs’ Citizens and Technical Advisory Committee, a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
