Asian markets marginally higher, gold flat at $1,168

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. On the other side, gold and silver were trading marginally lower in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,168 mark and silver was trading around $16.68 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.09 percent lower at 1,987.85 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.57 percent higher at 18,461.22 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,198.47 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,458.37 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.38 percent higher at 22,762.00 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.85 percent higher at 5,475.52 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.19 percent higher at 8,158.25 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.22 percent higher at 26,441.57 points.
