Asian markets start a new week on positive note, gold slightly down

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,274 mark while silver was trading around $16.57 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.14 percent lower at 20,385.55 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.87 pct higher at 5,731.30 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.75 pct higher at 10,461.53 points.

China and Hong Kong banks will remain close in observance of National Day.

Indian Banks will remain close in observance of Gandhi Jayanti.

South Korean banks will be closed in observance of Chusok – Full Moon Festival.
