Asian markets start new week on positive note, gold hovers around $1,250 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,252 mark while silver was trading around $16.65 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.60 pct higher at 20,060.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.99 percent higher at 25,879.12 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.32 pct higher at 2,368.08 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.41 percent higher at 9,627.45 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.37 percent higher at 31,171.26 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,122.16 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,520.06 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.80 pct higher at 10,237.15 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.30 pct higher at 5,791.10 points.
