Asian markets turn positive, gold hovers around $1,212 ahead of NFP job results

All the major Asian indices are trading on a flat to positive note on Friday ahead of the big event for the day that is NFP job data. Gold is trading in a range bound directions from $1205 to $1217 marks. On the other side, USD/JPY remains well supported below 109 mark and trading around 108.65 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei N225 was trading 0.24% higher at 16,603.53 points in Tokyo.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.11% lower at 1,982.60 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 2,929.79 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,172.95 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng index was trading 0.27% higher at 20,916.52 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.70% higher at 5,315.52 points.

India’s BSE Sensex was trading 0.52% higher at 26,983.40 while NSE Nifty up by 0.37% to 8,249.40 points.
