Japan’s Nikkei was trading 1.34 pct higher at 19,536.50 points.
Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.98 percent higher at 27,940.29 points.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.73 pct higher at 5,714.30 points.
Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,365.35 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,828.34 points.
Taiwan stock was trading around 0.36 pct lower at 10,572.88 points.
India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.67 percent higher at 10,001.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.50 percent higher at 31,847.39 points.
South Korea’s kospi was trading 0.54 percent higher at 2,356.83 points.
