AUSTIN, Texas, June 08, 2017 -- Asure Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASUR), a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) and workplace management software, has appointed Dan Gill to its board of directors, effective June 6, 2017. Following Gill’s appointment, Asure’s board of directors will be comprised of five independent directors and one inside director.
Gill is the founder and co-managing partner of Silver Oak Services Partners (“SOSP”). Previously SOSP was the majority owner of iSystems, which was recently acquired by Asure. Gill also currently serves on a board of directors of the Pediatric Dental Practice Management platform, PLA, PRN and VASA Fitness. He previously served on the board of Advantage Payroll Services, Aurum Technology, CompuPay, Convergent Resources, Direct Travel, Dynamic Hospitals, Education Corporation of America, GKIC, Interlink Communications Partners, Merit Health Systems, and Physicians Endoscopy.
“I really look forward to working with Dan on our Board of Directors.," said Asure CEO Pat Goepel. “Dan is an experienced corporate director, financial expert and, as I have learned over the last several months, just an overall talented individual. Having been involved in the payroll space for the past two decades and experiencing a great degree of success, Dan brings to our organization a deep insight into the payroll and HR industry, as well as a wealth of corporate governance and financial experience. We believe the combination of our two companies, as well as Dan’s new leadership role, will make Asure a stronger competitor in the HCM space, as we continue to expand our market share.”
Gill added: “I’m very excited to become a part of the Asure board of directors, especially during a time of such incredible growth for the company.” Gill received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree in Economics from Bucknell University.
