The previous chapter of “Attack on Titan” left readers dangling with quite the cliffhanger featuring the user of the Cart titan pointing a gun at Eren. It would seem that the infiltration of Paradis by the military operators of Marley has begun. However, how exactly will this confrontation end and will “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 offer more details about the mysterious girl who put Zeke back together?
As Comic Book reports, the release date for “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 has just been announced so now fans know when they can expect to read the chapters again. As for what they can actually expect from it, there have been a lot of speculations on the matter. For one thing, some fans believe that the girl in Zeke’s vision is actually the progenitor of the Titans.
That is to say, she is the original source of the traits that allow Eldians to transform, in the first place. As to what this could possibly mean for the series, “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 will hopefully have some answers. The next chapter is sure to feature a confrontation between Eren and Pieck in a serious manner, though, with the latter threatening the former with a gun.
Considering that Eren already has the traits of the Hammer titan, however, this seems to be a rather foolish move. If the protagonist so chooses, he can easily disembowel the Marleyan soldier without having to transform at all. Eren will not likely do this, though, and will probably attempt to get information out of Pieck instead by letting her believe that she is in control.
On the matter of the release date for “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116, April 9 is the current schedule. Considering how the manga is close to an end, fans will not want to miss any chapters.
