SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 12, 2016 -- The board of directors of Atteris Healthcare LLC announced today that Chris Fashek, a nationally recognized health care business leader, will serve as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its board, effective immediately. Fashek will oversee the continued growth of the company and the launch of its advanced wound- and skin-healing products that improve the lives of patients.
Atteris Healthcare, a San Antonio-based company formed by Rochal Industries and The Catalyst Group Inc., will focus on the commercialization of Rochal’s proprietary advanced wound- and skin-healing products and collaborate on research and development of next-generation technologies. In addition, Fashek will also serve as Vice Chairman of Rochal Industries.

Prior to joining Atteris, Fashek served as Chairman and CEO at Spiracur Inc., a venture capital backed startup in the negative pressure wound therapy industry. Before leading Spiracur, his career included roles as Chairman of the Board for Systagenix and President and Vice Chairman of KCI USA, currently known as Acelity L.P. Inc. In his early career prior to KCI, he managed several businesses in both U.S. and international pharmaceutical and consumer product industries for Sterling Drug, a division of Eastman Kodak.

Chris and his wife, Christine, reside in San Antonio. He serves as a director at the IDN Summit, World Craniofacial Foundation and other commercial and charitable boards. Chris received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his Bachelor’s degree from Upsala College.
