The state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot fabrication facility will be equipped with the latest fabrication tools and technologies to support global projects. The in-house capabilities will include engineered modular processing facilities and standardized and custom-built modules.
Opero Energy plans to use the fabrication facility to focus on pipe fabrication, structural steel fabrication, and module assembly for the oil & gas industry.
In conjunction with in-house modular fabrication, Opero Energy will provide full EPC services and technologies to support entire project lifecycles, including conceptual design, detailed engineering and design, and construction.
"Opero Energy has come a long way in a relatively short time period," said Dave Beck, Managing Partner and Head of Midstream Operations at Audubon Companies. "Our expertise in modular engineering design, along with gas processing and treating technologies positioned us to advise our clients on how to meet their unique challenges in this highly technical and schedule-driven market, and now we're expanding to meet this demand and prepare for the future."
“The new 60,000 square foot facility will house our complete testing and fabrication services with room to expand as needed,” added Manish Mehta, President of Opero Energy. “We are very excited about enhancing our capabilities to provide technologies that decrease project risks, lower capital and project construction costs, and provide our clients with a total solution.”
The expansion is expected to add approximately 40 new jobs to the current workforce. Many of these positions will be in skilled labor for the plant.
Its Houston location at 12261 FM 529 Rd. and proximity to Hwy 290, Beltway 8, and Interstate 10 will benefit customers, suppliers, and employees.
