BIGBANG member is reportedly considering the sale of his building in Gangnam. And this comes after the idol singer made headlines for the suspicious activities in this property. Channel A was the first to broke the news after it personally visited the building and interviewing people around.
The news outlet also launched a stakeout, and they were able to capture footage of what happens inside the building when the night approaches. According to the initial reports, the businesses operating inside are closed in the morning and only opens at night.
The suspicious businesses
When the reporter also tried to go up to the higher floors, some levels have barricades when the elevator door opens. The suspicion is that prostitution and adult entertainment services are being offered in the building owned by BIGBANG’s Daesung.
“Loud noises came from the building when it became night. Women who appeared to be prostitutes would go in,” the witness told Entertainment Weekly via Koreaboo. “The illegally run businesses have been here since before and have been operating until recently, and when it became night, the security would guard the entrance and not let anyone in.”
It was further revealed that the elevator is being manually operated by the guard. An expert stated that the carrier was made in a way that it can be controlled by a remote.
Sale of the building
It was reported that the BIGBANG member had put his building up for sale on Aug. 1. It was said to have been listed for KRW40 billion or around US$33.5 million.
There are issues with the sale of the building as well because it was also being linked to YG Entertainment. It was alleged that Daesung originally planned to sell his property in June after learning that Channel A was set to release a report about the illegal adult entertainment businesses in the building, as per Soompi.
This story is developing after there are sources that stated that the sale of BIGBANG’s Daesung’s building is being handled by YG Entertainment. The agency denied the allegations, but police will look into it.
Taeyang's building
Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s Taeyang’s building was also said to be gaining attention after a media outlet tried to investigate it as well. But fortunately, they did not find anything suspicious in the businesses there.
