The NVIDIA Partner Network honors BOXX Technologies for its performance over the past year and level of growth in professional visualization achieved in North America. BOXX was one of NVIDIA’S first Quadro workstation partners in 2001.
“As an organization committed to professional visualization, BOXX is honored to receive this award,” said Tim Lawrence, BOXX VP of Engineering. “Our partnership with NVIDIA is key to our success. From desk side workstations to deep learning servers, our innovative integration of NVIDIA GPUs enables BOXX to take the lead in providing state-of-the-art, GPU-accelerated rendering.
At the NAB Show, BOXX will demonstrate APEXX S3, the world’s fastest workstation, running Cinema 4D, Autodesk® 3ds Max®, and Adobe CC. Featuring up to three NVIDIA Quadro GPUs and an 8th generation, six-core Intel® Core™ i7 professionally overclocked to 4.8GHz, APEXX S3 provides outstanding performance for 3D design and VFX workflows. APEXX S3 will be joined by the world’s thinnest, lightest, VR-ready mobile workstation, GoBOXX SLM VR, featuring a new NVIDIA Quadro P4000 GPU. GoBOXX SLM VR allows users to create stunning, seamless virtual reality experiences.
In addition to these systems, BOXX will demonstrate APEXX T3, a desktop workstation featuring a 16-core, AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ processor. Ideal for Cinema 4D, Adobe CC, 3ds Max, Maya, and V-Ray®, APEXX T3 also supports up to three professional NVIDIA GPUs.
Also on hand is the APEXX W8R, a GPU-dense server specifically designed to accelerate GPU-rendering. With support for up to eight professional, dual-width NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards, APEXX W8R brings maximum compute density to a single server.
“GPU-based systems and AI are helping customers accelerate design,” said Craig Weinstein, Vice President, Americas Partner Organization, NVIDIA. “As a high-end innovator of high-performance workstations, BOXX Technologies has provided rendering systems for major motion picture studios, television networks, and award-winning VFX artists.”
