BTS V was at the Gimpo International Airport on Nov. 21 as he and his bandmates are traveling to Japan. The world-famous South Korean boy group is having its fan meeting there, and the 5th Muster is set to be held on Nov. 23 and 24 at the Zozo Marine Stadium in Chiba Prefecture.
Who is Tannie?
Although it was a normal scene for BTS to be seen at the airport, something caught the eyes of the fans and the media. This time, it is not BTS V or any of the members’ outfits or looks, but it was the idol singer’s dog named Yeontan and nicknamed Tannie. The singer brought him to the airport before they left for Japan for a schedule.
Fans already know who Tannie is because he already made his first appearance in 2017 when the BTS members were having their V Live streaming session. At that time, he also lives in the boys’ dorm but had to move when BTS V and the rest of the team that includes RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Suga got so busy that nobody could take care of him anymore.
Tannie moved to BTS V or Kim Taehyung’s parent’s home, where he can be taken care of while the idol singer travels to perform. The pomeranian teacup is also known to be very close to the rest of the members since he lived with them for quite a while.
Yeontan trended on social media
Not long after the video of BTS V’s arrival at the airport with his beloved furbaby on his arms, the word “Tannie” trended on social media. One fan uploaded a clip of Taehyung coming down from the car on Twitter, and she captioned it with, “The way Tannie the rich and famous rockstar is trending worldwide after making his first airport appearance.”
Other fans commented that Tannie is really lucky to have a “dad” like BTS V because he truly loves him so much. Apparently, with all the attention and comments, the furbaby is now almost equally popular as his “parent.”
Meanwhile, BTS V and the rest of the group are believed to be preparing for a new album. They have been going around filming for their own show like the “BTS Bon Voyage,” which recently premiered its fourth season.
