BTS has completed its “Love Yourself” world tour in August and this was followed a short break where the members RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V and Suga went on an extended hiatus for about a month. The recently re-appeared with their own reality show called “BTS: Bon Voyage” and this was coupled with some photoshoots for brand endorsement deals.
Other than these activities, they are not officially back in the music department although there are rumors that they will be releasing their new album soon. There are also reports that some of the members like Jungkook are releasing their solo tracks or mixtape but the are no official announcements about this.
Big Hit issued an update
Now, on Dec. 24, Big Hit Entertainment updated its Twitter with a poster bearing the caption “April 2020. Stay Tuned” and this is enough to make fans jump with joy. Everyone is assuming that this is a world tour that is coming up in a few months.
However, there is no other detail aside from the month and the request for fans to keep posted. Also, what exactly this tour is about is not certain though the ARMYs are hoping for a world tour and new album.
The announcement came with a poster that shows water reflecting the silhouettes of the seven members of the phenomenal BTS South Korean boy band. The water has been shaded in purple rather than blue and what this means is still a mystery.
New album speculations
Since BTS returned from their break a few months ago, fans are looking forward to hearing them render some new songs. The members also hold V Live streaming and sometimes they mention that they are writing new songs.
They did not say, however, if they are releasing a new album and when. BTS’ last musical work was a collaboration with foreign artists like Lauv with whom they sang "Make It Right" with and this was in October.
Meanwhile, if BTS is announcing its new world tour in 2020, it will definitely be a big hit again. They have already conquered the world and had made records that surpassed the like of music greats such as The Beatles, thus their upcoming concerts will be sold outs as well.
