‘Bad Santa 2’ is set to feature Billy Bob Thornton and Christina Hendricks in the upcoming sequel directed by Mark Waters. The two engaged in a raunchy alleyway scene for the film’s second red band trailer as Thornton reprises his role as the lead protagonist Willie T. Stokes, a crude, foul-mouthed, and drunken department store Santa Clause impersonator from the original 2003 film.
Emmy-award nominee Christina Hendricks joins the new cast as Diane. Her character is a seemingly formal and prudish woman who fancies shady lowlifes and is actually a nymphomaniac. According to the Daily Mail, the latest red band trailer for the incoming sequel featured Thornton and Hendricks engaged in a raunchy outdoor scene in an alleyway. Thornton’s character also helps his now grown-up sidekick Thurman Merman, portrayed by Brett Kelly, lose his virginity.

Other members of the cast include Tony Cox as Willie’s former partner-in-crime Marcus, Academy Award winner Kathy Bates as Willie’s estranged mother Sunny, and Ryan Hansen as Diane’s husband Regent. Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer is also set to cameo as Opal.
