“Ballers” season 5 is speculated to return in the summer of 2019 since it was confirmed several weeks before the fourth series installment concluded. If that’s the case, when can fans expect the first official trailer to come out?
HBO officially confirmed there will be a “Ballers” season 5 last Sept. 6, which was also the original airing date of season 4 episode 4. This was quite an early announcement for the show’s renewal and was generally good news for the fans.
That was the last official word from the premium cable channel. HBO has not yet confirmed a premiere date for “Ballers” season 5.
The early confirmation from HBO most likely allowed the cast and crew to get back to work within the same schedule as the previous installments. And, notably, all of the first four seasons were ready to air for a premiere within the summer. So it is speculated that “Ballers” season 5 will possibly return within the summer of 2019 as well.
Fans should note that these are mere speculations based on the show’s production and airing schedules in previous years. In the end, the release of the first official sneak peek at “Ballers” season 5 is a certain indication that its premiere is approaching.
The Daily Express suggests that, like in seasons 1 to 4, the trailer for the fifth season will come out a couple of months before the premiere. And if “Ballers” season 5 is airing its first episode in summer 2019, the first trailer can be expected in 2019 as well.
As for the “Ballers” season 5 cast, no major shakeup is expected. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will return as the NFL financial manager Spencer Strasmore. Meanwhile, John David Washington, Russell Brand, Rob Corddry, and Omar Miller are among the actors who will most certainly reprise their respective roles.
“Ballers” season 5 will most likely pick up where the story ended in season 4. With that, fans should expect to revisit more of the NCAA vs. NFL drama.
