Ben Affleck has always been seen to be a great father to his kids with Jennifer Garner. Despite separating from the “13 Going on 30” actress in 2015, the two have co-parented their three kids successfully.
Jennifer Garner even paid tribute to Ben Affleck last month in an Instagram post. The actress thanked Ben for being a great parent. Despite all of these, a new rumor has emerged alleging that the “Justice League” actor is trying to win back his kids’ affection by trying to land a role in a PG movie.
Gossip magazine OK! claims (via Gossip Cop) that Ben Affleck is “desperate to be his kids’ hero again,” and starring in a family-friendly film might be the way to achieve this. The publication’s insider reportedly added that Ben is trying to remake classic Disney films as his kids adore such movies.
However, given the abovementioned information, it’s highly likely that OK! is calling out fire again where there is none. It’s already been proven in the past that the gossip outlet cannot be trusted when it comes to the allegations it’s peddling, and its stories were time and again debunked by reputable publications like Gossip Cop and People.
As for Ben Affleck trying to be his kids’ hero, the guy is playing one of the most iconic superheroes in history already. Granted “Justice League” didn’t really perform well at the box office, but that’s not the point. The point is that “The Town” actor has been making sure he’s part of his children’s lives despite going through a tough divorce with Jennifer Garner, which is heroic in and of itself.
Ben Affleck recently took his children to a Broadway show in New York City along with his ex-wife. During that time, the family was seen being “very happy,” with the kids cheering and expressing their delight at the musical “Hello, Dolly!”
