‘Better Call Saul’ season 6: Aaron Paul rumored to appear in a cameo role; Finale predicted to be released in two parts

Better Call Saul

When the fifth drama installment ended, fans already know that there will be “Better Call Saul” season 6. This is because it was already announced earlier that the drama is already concluding with one more season run.

The details of the finale

It was reported that “Better Call Saul” season 6 will offer a total of 13 episodes. Apparently, it will be three episodes longer compared to the previous seasons. They produced more chapters this time to give the drama enough time to wrap up the story without leaving any question unanswered since this is the last run.

Sarah Barnett, AMC Entertainment president, stated that one of their best decisions was renewing “Better Call Saul” series. She said that drama made history in their TV network, so the series was really a good thing.

“Greenlighting a prequel to one of the most iconic series in television history is one of the boldest swings that AMC has ever taken,” she said via AMC’s official statement. “Thanks to the creative genius of Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, it has also been one of the most rewarding.”

In any case, after the renewal early this year, AMC Network stopped providing new updates about “Better Call Saul” season 6, but even so, the finale has been confirmed anyway.

Much-awaited cameo appearance from “Breaking Bad” series

Many fans are waiting for Aaron Paul to appear even in a cameo role since “Better Call Saul” is a spinoff of the highly popular “Breaking Bad” series. They want him to do a cameo as the timeline of “BCS” is already catching up with the original, so they think that Paul should appear as the story enters the “Breaking Bad” timeline.

Screen rant reported aside from Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston had also expressed his willingness to be in “Better Call Saul” season 6. The latter explained through his social media that he and Paul have been asked countless times if they are going to show up as their “Breaking Bad” characters in the Bob Odenkirk drama-starrer, and they always say the same thing that they always tell Vince that they are always ready for it. Currently, there is no word from the showrunners or AMC if the two are indeed making a cameo in the “BCS” finale.

Meanwhile, “Better Call Saul” season 6 is predicted to premiere in 2021, and there are reports that say it will be released in two parts just like what they did to the “Breaking Bad” series.
