NEW YORK, March 09, 2017 -- BeyondSpring Inc. (“BeyondSpring”), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative cancer therapies, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 174,286 ordinary shares at a public offering price of $20.00 per share. BeyondSpring also announced the sale of an aggregate of 2,541,048 ordinary shares at $20.00 per share, in a concurrent private placement transaction. The gross proceeds from the initial public offering and the private placement are expected to be $54.31 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase from BeyondSpring up to an additional 26,141 ordinary shares in the public offering. The ordinary shares sold in the public offering are expected to commence trading on The NASDAQ Capital Market on March 9, 2017 under the ticker symbol “BYSI.” The offerings are expected to close on or about March 14, 2016, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Rodman & Renshaw, a unit of H.C. Wainwright & Co., is acting as the sole bookrunner for the public offering and acted as the exclusive placement agent for the concurrent private placement.
