Binance said Monday, Nov. 2, that its latest proof-of-reserves verification was complete, following a hot-wallet compromise disclosed on Oct. 29.

Binance said its hot wallets had been compromised Oct. 29. The first withdrawal phase had returned 15 networks to service by 7:30 a.m. ET on Nov. 1. The exchange said deposits and services unaffected by the incident remained available.

Binance previously estimated the incident’s impact at about $6.3 billion and said about $3 billion in assets had been frozen, according to EconoTimes’ earlier report on the estimate. The exchange had projected a further withdrawal phase for Nov. 3 in its earlier schedule.
