Bitcoin’s Volatile Reset: ETFs Rebound as Bulls Eye USD 80,000 Milestone

BTCUSD pared some of its gains as market worried about middle east ceasefire development. It peaked at $73147 yesterday and is currently trading at about $71675.

For Bitcoin ETFs, the first week of April 2026 was marked by a lot of volatility and a "choppy" performance instead of a clear trend in one direction or the other. Following a brief period of decline after March's record-breaking activity, the week started with a sizable net outflow of USD 173.73 million on April 1. But on April 6, the trend changed sharply as USD 471 million in net inflows surged back, making it the biggest one-day total in six weeks. The total weekly picture is still somewhat positive to flat when combined with the USD 117.63 million in inflows from March 31. This points to the market going through a "volatile reset" at the start of the month, where the strong late-week rebound effectively cancelled out earlier capital outflows and eased worries about a long period of decline.
