‘Black Clover’ Chapter 187 Release Date, Spoilers: Henry Vows to Save Gauche; Asta Transforms to His Demon Form Mid-Fight

The party of Black Bulls composed of Asta, Henry, Grey, and Gordon is the focus of “Black Clover” chapter 187. Fans have commented that this installment is relatively shorter than usual but still commended creator Yuki Tabata for accomplishing an action-packed chapter before 2018 ends.

Prior to “Black Clover” chapter 187, the elf Droit managed to take control of Gauche’s body. Now, Gauche’s friends from the Black Bull squad will have to fight him in order to get him back. While Black Bulls are well-known for their perseverance in every fight, “Black Clover” chapter 187 will not be the time when they save Gauche.

Meanwhile, Droit will recognize that Asta is using Licht’s Demon-Slaying Sword which makes him the primary target for the elf in “Black Clover” chapter 187. As explained by one of the translated versions of the manga, the weapon “can sever the fate of all that is around it.”

Aside from Gauche, her sister Marie is currently possessed by Droit’s sister Ecra, and they are continuously fighting the Black Bulls together in “Black Clover” chapter 187. With their magic powers combined, Asta and the others risked getting paralyzed just by merely looking into the eyes of their opponents.

But just as Droit thinks Asta is defeated in “Black Clover” chapter 187, he will use the Poison Magic. With the help of the other Black Bulls, they use the Magic Convert transforming Poison into Mirror element. Now, the Black Bulls can practically manipulate Gauche’s latest attack.

The final panel in “Black Clover” chapter 187 was focused on Henry who promised that no matter what may happen to him, he vows to save Gauche in the upcoming manga chapters. This line, however, caused some fans to worry that these words might be foreshadowing Henry’s death. The reported official release date for “Black Clover” chapter 187 is on Dec. 22.
