“Black Clover” season 2 continues and it is now 80 episodes deep. The upcoming sequel is featuring a story titled "Special Little Brother vs. Failed Big Brother" and as the title suggests, it seems rivalry between Finral and Langris is at the center of their brotherhood again.
True enough as the “Black Clover” season 2 episode 80’s plot summary reads: “In a flashback, Langris Vaude was praised by their parents and demanded that Finral Roulacase to be more like his brother. The brothers are later introduced to the fiancée of the next head of House Vaude, Finesse Calmreich.”
As viewers of “Black Clover” already know, Langris is very sadistic and in fact, he once tried to kill his older brother Finral when he beat him in a battle. He definitely holds a deep grudge against his brother because has always been well-liked and praised by others.
Thus, with the given synopsis for “Black Clover” season 2 episode 80, the existing grudge may have resurfaced again and Langris may have something up his sleeve to topple his brother in any way. At any rate, the episode will also show Finral blushing after meeting Finesse although she is already taken.
Langris will tiptoe around Finral and Finesse to eavesdrop and when he heard that his brother was praised by her and saying that his Magic Knight spell is better than his brother, Langris was seething in anger and this spells trouble ahead in “Black Clover” season 2 episode 80.
Meanwhile, Finral continues to defend against Langris' magic and he wants to defend until his brother’s crystal is shattered. Finral will also reveal some new spells but none of them are attack spells thus he needs to improve and master such spells that can make him more powerful against his foes and even his own sibling who hates him.
“Black Clover” season 2 episode 80 will be on broadcast on April 23. Watch the promo trailer below:
