With regards to details about “Black Clover” Season 3, the concrete developments are still few and far between. At first glance, it is practically a given that the anime is going to be renewed because it has everything that the current generation of casual viewers enjoys. It is a derivative piece of work, has repetitive stories, and has a loud protagonist. However, the fact that there has been no announcement yet throws this eventuality into question.
If “Black Clover” Season 3 really is in the bag, this fact should have been made known by now by Pierrot. However, there have been no hints as to whether or not this is actually going to be the case. Then again, season 2 is still going, so fans might have to wait until it is done before anything is said about it, TheCinemaholic notes.
It is worth pointing out that when it comes to something like “Black Clover” Season 3, the popularity of the show should have already been obvious enough for anyone to see. As such, it should have been fine for producers or the animators to say something about it. This is especially true since there are some ardent fans saying that it is better than “My Hero Academia.”
The fact that there has been nothing said about “Black Clover” Season 3 yet raises the possibility that the folks behind it are having second thoughts. As such, the anime getting axed would not be entirely out of the question. Only time will tell if this is actually what will happen.
On that note, if “Black Clover” Season 3 does end up happening and the studio only starts working on it after season 2, it is going to be a long time before it is released. Fans can expect a late 2021 premiere if the studio keeps the episode count the same.
