Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of Hollywood’s most popular couple today, which isn’t surprising. They’re funny, witty, and just brimming with good looks.
But what separates Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds from other A-List couples is their hilarious approach towards their relationship and parenthood. For instance, just last month, the “Deadpool” star revealed a hilarious, albeit slightly concerning story, involving his kids and “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu,” People reported.
“I was on my way to pick up my daughters from school when I heard that I got the role,” Ryan Reynolds said during a promo for the upcoming film. “I didn’t show up at school because Detective Pikachu, he doesn’t know who those two little girls are. Who are they?” In the same video, Blake Lively was seen expressing her unease and surprise that her husband would just leave their children like that.
Of course, while the “Gossip Girl” actress is somewhat disappointed that such responsibility flew over Ryan Reynold’s head, she isn’t all that upset about it. This isn’t the first time that such an amusing story has sprouted during the actor and Blake Lively’s relationship. Those who have been following their Instagram accounts know all too well the hilarious banter that has occurred between the pair.
The latest of which involves Salma Hayek. When the “Desperado” actress posted a photo of herself along with Ryan Reynolds during the production of “The Hitman’s Bodyguard 2,” Blake Lively commented that she’s “conflicted” over which she’s more attracted to.
The couple sparked their romance when they worked together on “Green Lantern.” At the time, Blake Lively was dating “Gossip Girl” co-star Penn Badgley, while Ryan Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson. As the months went by, however, both left their respective partners amicably before finally letting the public know that they are indeed a couple. Since then, they produced two daughters: four-year-old James – who’s named after the actor’s father – and two-year-old Inez.
