J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. reported third-quarter revenue of $3.68 billion, up from $3.05 billion a year earlier, as higher Intermodal loads and revenue per load in ICS and Truckload offset fewer Final Mile Services stops in part.
Revenue increased 20% year over year. Excluding fuel surcharges, it rose 13%, the company said in results released Oct. 15. J.B. Hunt reported diluted earnings per share of $1.82, compared with $1.76 in the same quarter last year.
Operating income climbed 2% to $247.1 million. Net earnings reached $172.4 million, up from $170.8 million a year earlier.
The company said revenue and productivity gains contributed to the increase in operating income, with lower equipment storage and facility rental costs also helping. Higher spending on purchased transportation, drivers and equipment, as well as increased insurance and medical claims, offset some of those gains.
Debt instruments totaled $1.12 billion on Sept. 30, 2026, down from $1.60 billion on Sept. 30, 2025, J.B. Hunt reported.
