Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship may be too sweet for Hollywood but that does not mean that it is too good to get touched by the gossip machine. While Stefani and Shelton have been dealing with the Hollywood-usual stories about a will they, won't they relationship between the two of them ever since they got together, sometimes gossip publications throw a curveball and simply claim to know so much about their private lives.
Just recently, the rumor mill claimed knowledge of the Shelton-Stefani power couple's wedding plans – going as fas as claiming to know that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton want Kelly Clarkson to sing at their non-existent wedding. The story is technically harmless though it relies on an untrue and unverifiable claim, which means that it is easier for gossip publications to promote much like the more recent holiday-themed rumor being posted about the couple
Recently, a publication has been claiming to know about how Blake Shelton truly feels about Gwen Stefani. To be specific, the publication claims that Gwen Stefani loves to dress up for Blake Shelton and the “The Voice” coach also loves it when she does. The rumor is based on a recent photo of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton dressed up for Halloween party as Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and a sailor.
GossipCop debunks this recent story as untrue, pointing out that the publication only cites an anonymous and unverifiable source. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have not posted their thoughts about “dressing up” in public either. In addition, the publication points out that there are no other cases where Gwen Stefani has “dressed up” for Blake Shelton's pleasure beyond the example which Halloween can already explain.
In addition to the tenuous claim, GossipCop also confirms that no one from Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's camp has been “leaking” information to the concerned publication. With the growing number of seemingly innocent claims about the couple's love life, fans of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will just have to be more careful about any such claims they encounter in the future.
