‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 14, titled "In & Out," is set to follow Danny and Baez as they work together to investigate the murder of a gang leader. Frank lends his assistance by mediating between rival gangs through dealings with Mario Hunt. Method Man is set to reprise his role as the gang leader Mario.
The synopsis for “In & Out” posted on TV Guide reads, “A parole officer's romance with an ex-con leads to a possible cover-up in a gang leader's shooting. As Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) investigate the murder, Frank (Tom Selleck) tries to halt further violence by talking to a rival gang leader who once killed a police chief.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow the core characters as they investigate a new homicide case reflecting violence in the streets of the city. As Danny and Baez take on the murder of a gang leader, they discover a shocking lead pointing to an ex-convict, who is romantically linked to his parole officer. It was speculated that the lady parole officer may be protecting whoever the shooter is.
In his concern that the murder may lead to further violence, Frank takes necessary steps in ensuring the peace by making deals with the rival gang’s leader Mario Hunt (Method Man) in order to mediate between the two groups.
Clifford Smith, better known for his stage name Method Man, is set to return as Mario Hunt. The American rapper, record producer, and actor was first introduced as the gang leader in previous episodes, according to Cartermatt. Mario is revealed to have killed a police chief in the past.
‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 14, titled "In & Out," is scheduled to air on February 3, 2017 on CBS. John Behring directed the episode written by Ian Biederman. It will be followed by episode 15, titled "Lost Souls," scheduled for February 10.
