‘Bones’ season 12’s episode 10, titled “The Radioactive Panthers in the Party," will feature the return of Betty White as Dr. Beth Mayer. Mayer is set to counsel Brennan on work and romance. Meanwhile, Booth and Aubrey will work together on a new murder case.
The synopsis posted on TV Guide states, “The battered and burning body of an up-and-coming filmmaker lands on a moving car, opening an investigation of unusual locations and characters linked to his movie.
Meanwhile, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) gets advice from Dr. Mayer (Betty White) on work and romance; and Booth (David Boreanaz) makes way for Aubrey (John Boyd) to take the lead on the current case.”
The upcoming episode is set to feature veteran actress Betty White as Dr. Beth Mayer. The 95-year old prolific actress has had a long and storied career on television and is best known for her Emmy-awarded roles such as Sue Ann Nivens on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show,’ and Rose Nylund on ‘The Golden Girls.’
Her character, Dr. Mayer, is a forensic anthropologist who assisted Brennan in the episode ‘The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves.’ According to International Business Times, Mayer is set to return to help Brennan after the latter seeks her guidance on work as well as romance.
As the final season approaches the end, Brennan will also attempt to help former Jeffersonian forensic expert Zack Addy (Eric Millegan) in his trial, according to Cartermatt. Crucial evidence will be presented and it seems that this could finally absolve Zack from impending confinement.
Meanwhile, Booth and Aubrey are set to work on a new murder case after the body of an aspiring filmmaker lands on a moving car. The investigation is set to lead the team to a number of unusual locations as well as characters that are connected to the victim’s new movie. Booth is set to let Aubrey take the lead in their most recent case.
The promo for episode 10 also hinted at Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo Vaziri's (Pej Vahdat) wedding.
‘Bones’ season 12’s episode 10, titled “The Radioactive Panthers in the Party," is scheduled to air on Fox on March 14, 2017. It will be followed by episode 11, titled "The Day in the Life," scheduled to be released on March 21.
