Fans will be delighted to learn that they finally have an official release date for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30. Meanwhile, the upcoming events are still a mystery — will Koji decide to fight Naruto or will he escape and bring Boruto to their headquarters?
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30 is still part of the Kawaki arc, which obviously hints that the story is focused on Kawaki. To those not caught up with the manga series, Kawaki has a modified body and he is regarded as the only key to fulfill Kara’s mysterious goals.
Kawaki was previously brought by Team 7 to Hidden Leaf after realizing that he bears similar marks that Boruto has. And in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30, Kara’s attempt to recover him will continue.
However, Kawaki is closely guarded by no less than the Hokage, Naruto, himself. Added to that, they are staying at the heart of Konoha. So any attempts to recover him will prove tricky for Kara, especially for Koji. All these circumstances lead to speculations that Koji is left with the options of attacking Naruto or abducting his son in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30.
Chapter 29 ended with Koji finding where Kawaki is. The latter went outside of Naruto’s house attempting to fix Himawari’s vase that he previously broke. This obviously hints that an intense fight is most likely happening in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30.
However, Koji seems like a smart character. Though he looks strong, it is impossible that he is going to risk attacking near Naruto without any backup. So there is also a chance that he might initially pass on making a move to avoid getting defeated and being imprisoned in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30.
On the other hand, he might also come up with another plan that might work if he does it with proper strategy. Instead of attacking Kawaki who is under Naruto’s protection, Koji might later find Boruto unguarded in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30.
Abducting Boruto to use him as a bargaining leverage for Kawaki is also a possibility. Meanwhile, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 30 will be released on Dec. 22 via Weekly Shonen Jump.
