One of the things about “Boruto” Chapter 31 that fans are looking forward to most is the result of the showdown between the haughty Delta and Naruto. As it stands, it would seem that the bout favors Konoha’s Hokage as the winner, but will this actually be the case? There have been rumblings that Naruto will actually lose and Boruto will activate Karma in his rage, thus resulting in the curse consuming him.
The idea of Naruto losing against Delta stems from the character seemingly becoming more vulnerable since the beginning of the new storyline. Far from the invincible ninja that he became at the end of “Naruto,” the iconic anime figure seemed to have become more prone to injury in “Boruto.” This is why there have been many who have come to believe that his potential loss in “Boruto” Chapter 31 would not be farfetched.
On the contrary, it could be the push that Boruto needs in order to stop messing around with his own role in the story. So far, the young ninja seems quite reluctant to use the power of the curse on his hand. “Boruto” Chapter 31 might just change that with him seeing his father lose a fight against a member of Kara. It would certainly be a fitting catalyst for some good character development.
Then again, the chances of Delta actually beating Naruto in “Boruto” Chapter 31 are slim to none. Not only are they fighting on the home turf of the Hokage, but it isn’t as if Boruto’s father is a weakling. Even as they fight, other ninjas will be rushing to help repel the invader. The only chance of Delta actually emerging victorious is if she uses one of the children to gain an advantage over Naruto.
“Boruto” Chapter 31 will be available for readers’ consumption on Jan. 28. Fans will then see exactly how this fight will go.
