The previous chapter saw Jigen absorbing chakra from what appears to be a spirit beast, and this can only mean that he has unfathomable destructive power now. With his plan to appear before Boruto and Kawaki, Konoha is in danger of getting caught in the crossfire. Fortunately, Sasuke is there to take Jigen on before he can leave, but this could result in his death or capture if he is not careful. “Boruto” Chapter 36 should reveal the outcome soon enough.
To be clear, Sasuke is not likely to be arrogant enough to believe that he can take on Jigen by himself, having already seen what the Kara leader just did. On that note, it isn’t as if the villain is without weakness, Omnitos notes. This is why “Boruto” Chapter 36 is likely to do well in terms of providing some satisfactory action when it comes out on July 19.
In the end, however, Jigen is clearly stronger than Sasuke as he is even more powerful than Naruto if Kashin Koji’s thoughts are to be believed. As such, the Uchiha ninja might just need to buy enough time to send a message warning Konoha of the impending attack. This could then mean that “Boruto” Chapter 36 will see Sasuke sacrificing himself in the fulfillment of his duties as the sword of his village.
Should this turn out to be the case, Naruto will at least know to expect trouble, but when has it ever been that simple when it comes to this manga? As such, there are likely to be complications in “Boruto” Chapter 36 that will then lead to the message either getting delayed or diverted to the wrong person.
Whatever may happen in “Boruto” Chapter 36, it is sure to be one exciting chapter. Fans can simply wish that it would have more pages.
