“Boruto” Episode 112 will be kickstarting a new arc for the series as Mirai’s character development currently came to a close. Following the incident involving the Jashin cult, Mirai managed to track down and solved the mystery surrounding the disappearance of several young women.
After the threat has been dealt with, Guy and Kakashi informed Mirai that they’ve been secretly tasked to sniff out who’s behind the crimes and they weren’t simply there to take a vacation. In “Boruto” Episode 112, the story will transition to the chunin promotion that’s currently troubling Naruto and Shikamaru.

“Naruto and Shikamaru are worried about the results of the Chunin Exams, which has been interrupted by the raid of the Otsutsuki Clan. If they consider the fact that each of the candidates tried their best during the exam, what will be the outcome of their discussion regarding who ought to be promoted to Chunin? Aside from the Chunin arc, the next episode will also be continuing the narrative involving Urashiki and his whereabouts. After the initial Chunin Exam was raided, Sasuke started gathering intel about the Otsutsuki Clan. “Boruto” Episode 112 will be revealing the depth of what Sasuke has learned, relaying the information to Naruto and Shikamaru.
Of course, most of the story involving the dangerous character won’t be revealed too much as the writers are only setting up this huge arc. Thus, expect to see some hints of the Otsutsuki Clan in “Boruto” Episode 112, as well as their motive involving Naruto’s son. Regarding the release date of the next episode, it’s slated for release on June 23.
