The Chocho Akimichi arc continues in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68. And in the next anime installment, Chocho will suddenly get an acting gig and a kiss from the apple of her eye, the handsome actor Tomaru. However, they still have a lot of work to do in identifying the group that wanted to harm the actors.
In the brief preview for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68, Chocho is seen sharing a scene with her new, ultimate crush Tomaru. Chocho is seen ditching her typical ninja attire and wearing a yellow dress paired with a yellow choker band around her neck.
While this could be an exciting moment for Chocho considering how much she likes Tomaru, the character is seen super tense in the most part of the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68 preview. In the latter part of the preview, Chocho is seen donning another costume, which is a pink off-shoulder dress.
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68 is titled “Super Chocho Kiss Mode.” And, as expected, Chocho is going to kiss the actor Tomaru while doing the scene.
To those wondering how Chocho ended up in a kissing scene with the real actor Tomaru in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68, it all started in episode 67. Team 7 and Team 10 were tasked to go on a joint guarding mission. They have to protect Tomaru and her leading lady, Ashina, after they received a death threat.
Masked ninjas attacked the actors’ filming location, injuring Ashina. Since the show must go on, Tomaru suddenly picked Chocho to replace Ashina for the important scene which will be covered in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68. And to those who are wondering, Chocho achieved a slimmer figure by using the Akimichi clan’s secret Butterfly Mode technique.
Though the preview suggests that “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68 is going to be light and fun, one mystery still remains — the identity of the attackers. There are various speculations about the attackers. Some believe that the mastermind of the attackers could be Tomaru himself and some fans also think there is something sketchy about his character.
Since the Chocho arc is expected to be brief, there is a chance that more clues about the attackers will be revealed in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 68. The anime series continues on Aug. 9.
