Mitsuki's soul-searching has led some of his closest friends to defy the wishes of Konohagakure's authorities, but the heart-wrenching rejection of their companionship in the last episode leaves the rogue shinobis with no one left to turn to in “Boruto” episode 81. With Mitsuki's rejection leaving Boruto in some kind of stupor, fans may be wondering if the rest of the team will have the will to push through with the hero's mission to help his friend.
In the “Boruto” episode 81 preview trailer, fans are shown that there is some dissent within the ranks between Shikadai and Sarada. Shikadai emphasizes that it would be hard for the team to go back to Konohagakure considering that they went against their original orders of bringing back Boruto and Sarada into custody. Sarada, on the other hand, is simply concerned about Boruto's current state.
Unfortunately, it seems that danger still lurks around the corner as someone is potentially watching Shikadai and Sarada from afar. The two shinobi will have to figure out a way to get Boruto to safety while trying to find out if there is anyone in the village they can trust not to turn them in for their insubordination. While Shikadai and Sarada worry about him, Boruto seems to be getting some sort of dream sequence that he needs to beat before he can be of any use to the team in “Boruto” episode 81.
Fans looking forward to seeing how Boruto can muster up the strength to wake up and give some semblance of leadership to the team once again and continue his efforts to help Mitsuki can catch “Boruto” episode 81 when it airs on Nov. 11. Fans can also simultaneously stream the upcoming episode with its scheduled broadcast on Crunchyroll for an online experience.
