Fans are itching to get more developments in the main story of “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” but it seems that this is just not going to happen yet. Ideally, “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” Chapter 30 should feature Kawaki’s kidnapping and a fight between Naruto and Koji. However, the upcoming installment will likely touch on Koji’s past, revealing whether he is an enemy of Konoha or its ally.
It’s worth pointing out that it isn’t unheard of for Konoha to send someone to infiltrate a dangerous organization. A good example of this is Itachi when he used the massacre of his entire clan except for Sasuke as his ticket into Akatsuki. “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” Chapter 30 could show that Koji is in the same situation.
On the other hand, it’s also just as likely that he is actually one of the numerous traitors who turned their back on Konoha for one reason or another. If this was the case, his chakra should have given him away when he entered the village, but this did not happen. Could this be a clever twist to the story or is it just an oversight? Hopefully, “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” Chapter 30 can provide some answers.
If it does turn out to be the case that “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” Chapter 30 will be a flashback chapter, it’s more than likely that fans will groan at the thought. After all, the anime has been suffering from a lack of narrative meat to work with, thus leading to its longest filler arc yet. With the manga having a monthly release schedule, one would think that it could at least have more to offer.
None of this is guaranteed and “Boruto Naruto Next Generations” Chapter 30 will be available for readers on Dec. 24. It should give fans the answers to some questions they might have.
