Fans of the Naruto franchise will have to wait for another week before seeing “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65. But the wait will be worth it as fans are about to witness the combined power of a father-and-son duo.

“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65 is appropriately titled “Father and Son.” According to spoiler reports, the installment’s highlight sequence will be likely a fight scene where Naruto and Boruto will have to work together to defeat Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

In the previous episodes of the Momoshiki arc, the Otsutsuki clan was able to capture Naruto. So Boruto, Sasuke Uchiha, and the other four Kage decided to team up with the goal of saving the franchise protagonist.

Unfortunately, things have gotten much worse than they had expected. Momoshiki gained more power by acquiring the strength of Kinishiki, giving the villain a new state that the Boruto and his allies seem to be unable to defeat.

Meanwhile, Naruto is also having a hard time fighting Momoshiki, especially after he has used up most of the chakra of the Nine-Tailed Fox. But that is the case if he will continue to fight alone.

“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65 is also even more exciting given that the father and son have just gotten back on good terms with one another. Their renewed relationship will probably lead to a powerful team, which could finally weaken Momoshiki.

As exciting as the events in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65 are, fans have to wait a week longer than normal to see it. It was recently confirmed that this installment was delayed for another week to give way to a promotional episode of the upcoming series “Pokémon: Everyone’s Story.”

So instead of July 12, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65 will air on the following Thursday, July 19. But fans will be rewarded for the wait as this installment is also being worked on by several high-profile animators, including Cheng Xi Huang.
