But on the bright side, teasers for “Boruto” episode 120 confirm that an exciting installment awaits focused on the reunion of the titular character with his Chunin Exams mentor Sasuke.

Boruto and Sasuke clicked as student and teacher during the Chunin Exams story arc. Boruto previously mentioned he is not planning on becoming a Hokage like his father. However, he is passionate about becoming one of the best ninjas, and that explains why he very much enjoyed training with Sasuke. Unfortunately, his mentor cannot stay in Konohagakure for long periods, and in “Boruto” episode 120 Naruto’s son intends to continue their training whatever it takes.
The young ninja overhears that a letter from Sasuke arrives in Hidden Leaf in “Boruto” episode 120, per the episode summary translated by Organic Dinosaur. Resolved on getting more training sessions with Sarada’s father, Boruto eavesdrops and learns that Sasuke is going to make a short stop at the Land of Wind.
The teaser for “Boruto” episode 120 does not specify what village Sasuke will visit in Wind Country. But Boruto, nevertheless, sneaks out of Hidden Leaf to get in touch with Sasuke so they can continue training.

In the Mitsuki Disappearance arc, Boruto and his friends fought with an army of synthetic humans. The upcoming episodes will show Boruto team up with other ninjas from the Wind Country and will face puppets created by Urashiki at some point after “Boruto” episode 120 that will air on Aug. 18.
