A new report with regards to global movie superstar Brad Pitt came out and it seems to be an attempt to pit the actor against another film icon, Tommy Lee Jones. The “Fight Club” star was supposedly given the cold shoulder by the “Men in Black” actor. Could this be a sign that the two are feuding or is it just another story that the tabloid made up to garner views? It’s the latter, definitely the latter.
As Gossip Cop reports, the tabloid magazine Star is at it again by printing yet another ridiculously stupid story with absolutely no basis on reality. The publication claims that there is a supposed “awkwardness on the set of Ad Astra” because the two actors are not getting along. The incident allegedly occurred when Brad Pitt tried to bond with his co-star and was rejected.
“Most guys line up to hang with Brad, but Tommy was strictly business and even got grouchy,” the supposed insider reportedly said. “Tommy can be a bit of a snob, thanks to his Harvard years and friendships with people like Al Gore.”
Apart from the fact that there are so many things wrong about those statements, there is also the simple matter of this report being made in the present tense. Gossip Cop pointed this out, noting how the publication seems to be under the impression that production is still going on. It no longer is, by the way, and Brad Pitt confirmed as much all the way back in 2017.
That fact alone is enough to render this entire report meaningless, but there is also the fact that a representative of Brad Pitt has already denied these rumors. Basically, there is no feud, there was no cold treatment, and all the actors got along about as well as can be expected in such situations.
